Infamous adult film star actress Stormy Daniels had a less than ideal day in court after a federal appeals court turned down her efforts to overturn a lower court decision in her failed defamation lawsuit against him, leaving Daniels on to hook for almost $300,000 she’s now been ordered to pay to the ex-president, according to a report from CNBC. And you best believe, the one-term, twice-impeached former guy is bragging his ass off about the recent ruling. But Daniels has already made it damn clear that she won’t allow this win for Trump to be an easy one.
Trump unsurprisingly wasted absolutely no time in pumping out a statement through his spokeswoman, since he’s still not allowed on Twitter, essentially doing a victory lap as he ran his mouth about one of the very few court rulings that actually went in his favor.
“As I have stated many times throughout the years, I never had an affair with Stormy Daniels, nor would I ever have wanted to,” Trump wrote in the statement last night. “The ruling was a total and complete victory and vindication for, and of me.”
Trump went on to label the entire litigation as a “purely political stunt” before laying his praises on his legal team for bringing it to a “successful” end.

But Daniels (whose real name is Stephanie Clifford”), who does still have her Twitter account, made one thing damn clear in response to the whole ordeal:
I will go to jail before I pay a penny.”

In connection to the legal battle and the “hush money” payments that were allegedly sent to Daniels amid Trump’s 2016 presidential run, lawyers for both Trump and Daniels — Michael Cohen and Michael Avenatti — have been convicted with felonies.
