Ted Cruz Is Either A Suck-Up Or A Chicken, Suggests He’s Going To “Wait And See” What Trump Does Before He Decides On His Own 2024 Run

He's the epitome of pathetic.

Well, folks. One of two things is going on here. Either Ted Cruz is still just as big a brown-nosing, sycophantic Trump suck-up as he ever was, or he’s a stone-cold chicken shit whose terrified of what his wife will do to him if he gets on stage and takes it right up the nose as Donnie boy trash talks her appearance — because either way, when it comes to a potential 2024 stab at the White House of his own, Cruz made it clear that he’s gotta “wait and see” what Donald Trump is going to do first.

Cruz stopped to speak with Fox News yesterday during the Conservative Political Action Conference event in Dallas, Texas, where he openly noted that Donald Trump is going to “decide on his own timeframe” whether or not he will ultimately run for president yet again in 2024 — and the TX GOP senator is going to be a good little boy and keep his big, fat mouth shut about any potential Cruz 2024 runs until Donald has done just that.

Cruz infamously and unsuccessfully ran against Trump in the 2016 election, in which Trump humiliated the man in every conceivable way, ranging from talking shit about Ted’s dad to his wife, Heidi. But nevertheless, Cruz is being a good little Republican and confirmed that he won’t be announcing any plans one way or another until Donald Trump has fully decided on what he’s going to do with regard to the next presidential election.

“Everyone is going to wait and see what Donald Trump decides and make decisions from there,” Ted said in the interview.

The Republican lawmaker was specifically asked about a timeframe on his own decision regarding a potential stab at the White House come 2024, but Cruz lobbed the question off and just said that he’s focusing on the 2022 midterms right now.

“I’m spending practically every waking moment on the campaign trail, focusing on retaking the House and retaking the Senate,” he told the Fox host. “I think we’re going to win both.”

Back in July, Cruz kiiiiiinda dropped what might have been the tiniest of veiled hints at the possibility of running for the presidency again during a Turning Point USA conference in Tampa, Florida, where he admitted that should Donald Trump decide not to throw his hat into the 2024 ring, it would “significantly” clear the field and open things up to a lot of potential candidates.

When it comes to Trump, he still has yet to make a cold, hard announcement regarding his 2024 presidential candidacy, though we all know what it will ultimately be. And he certainly seems to be teeing up for it in every way possible, after last night’s Save America event that was perfectly wrapped up in a campaign rally bow.
