Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) seems to think he owns the libs a lot of Twitter. He’s a Twitter troll, not a Senator representing the people of Texas. This time, the Cancun-loving Senator targeted White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday for what he ironically described as “brazen gaslighting.” And Cruz was pretty much gaslighting about gaslighting when he accused Psaki of gaslighting.
Cruz was responding to Psaki saying during a press briefing that it’s the Republicans that voted against President Joe Biden’s COVID relief plan that would actually help police departments, thus they were trying to defund the police. Cruz called it “brazen gaslighting,” even though Psaki isn’t wrong.
Brazen gaslighting. https://t.co/punJWd9gRT

That didn’t go down well on Twitter.
How convenient for you to finally remember this word. Now do “traitor” and “coward”.

Gaslighting is pretending you just had to go to Cancun when there was a major state of emergency, then pretending you were always coming right back.

It’s not gaslighting at all. Cheddarhead withheld money from Blue States and Cities and now the GOP is trying to prevent money from going to Blue States and cities as well. States need that money. If they don’t get it, indirectly, all State budgets suffer including Police.

Even Fox’s Chris Wallace agreed with that statement Teddy!

Don’t knock gaslighting Ted. As a Texan it might be the only light you will have this winter.

Republicans voted against the $350 Million Biden proposed to fund the police. I’d call that defunding.

Translation: “We’re doing this, so of COURSE we’re going to say the other side is doing it and not us!”
I mean, you DID go “Oooh! Look at the money we got you!” after 100% of you voted against any stimulus money.

That’s what you call a swing and a miss, Ted.
