Things Keep Getting Worse For Donald Trump As One Of His Earlier Endorsers Appeared To Be Turning Their Back On The Ex-President

He's losing everything.

Former President Donald Trump has a bad habit of letting things get to him in a bad kind of way. As I’m sure you’ve noticed over the years, the reality TV washup seems to take every little thing rather personally and easily becomes offended and irate over the most minor of perceived slights. In turn, this results in Trump essentially exploding over some of the most ridiculous things and, frankly, no one is safe from his ire when he becomes vexed. Not even his own people.

And now it seems his bad attitude is coming back around to bite him.

According to a report from VICE News’ Cameron Joseph, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is looking to move on from the Trump reign of terror and focus on the future under the Biden administration. However, no matter what Mitch does or tries “Trump won’t stop picking fights with the Senate’s most powerful Republican.”

Recently, Donald has set his sights on the Kentucky senator over President Biden’s infrastructure deal.

In a statement he issued recently, the ex-president called McConnell “the most overrated man in politics.” Before that, Donald released a separate statement seeming to imply that the KY senator is unintelligent.

“Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill is a disgrace,” Trump fumed. “If Mitch McConnell was smart, which we’ve seen no evidence of, he would use the debt ceiling card to negotiate a good infrastructure package.”

According to reports, Trump’s incessant potshots at McConnell and other top Republicans are beginning to irritate Republicans who are desperate to win the Senate back next year — an effort that will prove downright fruitless if Trump continues down this path.

North Dakota Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer spoke with VICE and said, “If anybody’s gonna go after anybody they should be going after Joe Biden and his administration. It would be far better if he and every other Republican would aim their disgust at the people that are causing problems in our country, not those of us trying to solve them.”

Cramer was one of the first GOP senators to endorse Donald Trump for president back in 2016. But it seems that he’s beginning to turn his back on the former guy as Trump continues to make their workload that much harder with elections just around the corner.

Joseph’s report with VICE notes that Cramer, McConnell, and 17 other Republicans voted in favor of Biden’s infrastructure bill, in direct violation of Trump’s wishes and demands, which Joseph points out as “a sign that Trump’s reach within the current Senate Republican conference is limited and may be on the wane.”
