According to a new book on the US Secret Service authored by Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig, two Trump family members got “inappropriately – and perhaps dangerously – close” to agents protecting them. One of those family members is Tiffany Trump, and she denies the allegations. The other family member is Donald Trump Jr.’s now-ex-wife, Vanessa, who may or may not have been having sexy-time with one of the agents.
According to Leonnig’s book, after Tiffany Trump, the now-former president’s daughter with his ex-wife Marla Maples, and her boyfriend broke up, “she began spending an unusual amount of time alone with a Secret Service agent on her detail,” and that concerned agency leadership over “how close Tiffany appeared to be getting to the tall, dark, and handsome agent.”
The Washington Post reports that a spokeswoman for Tiffany Trump denied the report, saying, “This is nothing more than gossip and is simply not true. Tiffany’s experience with the Secret Service was entirely professional.”
According to People magazine, the agent in question was reassigned; however, both he and Tiffany Trump said there was no inappropriate relationship.

The outlet reached out to the Secret Service for comment about Leonnig’s book and her reporting on Tiffany and Vanessa. A spokesperson said they were unaware of the upcoming book.
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of an upcoming book which re-hashes past challenges the agency overcame and evolved from,” the spokesperson said. “Now and throughout its 156-year history, the agency’s skilled workforce is dedicated to the successful execution of its critical protective and investigative missions.”
As for Vanessa Trump, the timeline of the alleged affair with a Secret Service agent is unclear since she filed for an uncontested divorce in March 2018. Junior, at some point, ended up with his gal pal Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Leonnig writes in her upcoming book that Secret Service agents reported that Vanessa Trump, the wife of the president’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr, “started dating one of the agents who had been assigned to her family.”
What a hot mess, and this wouldn’t be the first scandal involving the Trump family and the Secret Service. Everything with the Trump family is like a badly scripted soap opera, and the TV won’t seem to shut off.
