Donald Trump and his team of cronies’ tactics when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic just continue to get worse and worse with each passing day. And frankly, I’m not surprised, considering Donald’s response to this deadly pandemic has left 170,000 and counting Americans dead and all but flushed any shred of a chance he had at a second term down the drain.
But as the virus continues to worsen in the country, it seems as though these peoples’ complete disregard for who and/or what they attack to prop up their own agenda is worsening right along with it.
According to a new bombshell report from Axios reporter Johnathan Swan, Trump’s trade adviser Peter Navarro has now taken to accusing the FDA of being the “Deep State” during a recent meeting that was supposed to be about the virus as well as the Strategic National Stockpile.
Two sources who were present at the meeting last Monday recall Navarro aggressively confronting officials with the Food and Drug Administration, saying, “You are all Deep State and you need to get on Trump Time.” — “Trump Time” is apparently an expression coined by Navarro, used to describe the swiftness and speed that he claims Donald Trump demands.

Additional sources familiar with the overall situation say that Navarro has been fuming at the FDA for some time now for what he feels is a slow approach by them to approve therapeutics for the coronavirus, which he claims has cost many lives in the U.S.
One senior administration official says Navarro is also still miffed at the FDA for discouraging the use of the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine against COVID-19 — something Navarro is a use proponent of.
Senior health officials with the FDA remain strong in their assertion that they need adequate time, without political pressure, to follow the science and their rigorous processes to ensure that any therapeutics or vaccinations that are approved by them in use against the virus are safe and effective.
One source familiar with the situation, when asked about the FDA officials’ reactions to Navarro’s outburst said, “People just listened. A lot of the quote ‘Deep State’ people are shocked. But Navarro is Navarro.”
On the heels of Navarro’s outburst behind closed doors, Trump took to his Twitter and publicly echoed his trade adviser’s sentiment, tweeting, “The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives!”
Trump tagged the head of the Food and Drug Administration, Stephen Hahn.
