Top Member Of Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force Apparently Had Trouble Accessing Map Of Virus, Asked Twitter For Help

Oh, sure, this will make you feel better about the outbreak.

Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli is the top member of Donald Trump’s coronavirus task force, and for some inexplicable reason, he made the decision to turn to Twitter for help to access an online map produced by Johns Hopkins University of the spread of the virus. Apparently, the map was behind a paywall, but that was later fixed. Twitter users are, of course, making jokes about Cuccinelli being thwarted by a wall while seeking sanctuary.

And it’s quite perplexing that Cuccinelli thought it was better to ask Twitter for help instead of just paying to get access or using a method to get around the paywall.

This really isn’t going to make you feel better about the worldwide outbreak.

Twitter users had something to say about that.

The Dow dropped 1,000 points on Monday because of the continuing spread of the coronavirus, and that may not bode well for President Stock Market’s chances of reelection. Trump’s budget proposes drastic cuts to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It’s almost as if there’s a bunch of amateurs running the most powerful country on earth.
