Requests by former president Donald Trump’s former lawyers, including Rudy Giuliani, and allies were denied recently to throw out more than $3 billion in defamation lawsuits over false claims that a voting machine company’s technology was used to rig the 2020 presidential election. Rudy is in a lot of trouble, and there is no love lost between the former New York City major and former Governor Chris Christie. Both of them have been allies with the twice-impeached one-term president, but Christie has been on a redemption tour, hitting all the major news networks to hawk his book.

To say that Trump’s bug-eyed former attorney has mental issues would be putting it lightly. If you’re getting hit with lawsuits over a lie, one would think a person would stop lying, but Giuliani doesn’t seem to have that in him. That’s probably why Christie called Giuliani a “national embarrassment,” according to Newsweek.

The former governor of New Jersey appeared on ABC’s This Week, and called Trump’s lawyers a “national embarrassment,” saying they were relying on false conspiracy theories rather than presenting evidence of actual voter fraud. “If you’ve got the evidence of fraud, present it,” he said.

“I have been a supporter of the president’s. I voted for him twice,” Christie said. “But elections have consequences, and we cannot continue to act as if something happened here that didn’t happen.”

Earlier this month, a Pennsylvania election official filed a lawsuit against Giuliani and other Trump associates for allegedly defaming him during the efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results to the point that he says he suffered two heart attacks,” the Washington Post reported.

The lawsuit that was filed in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, alleges that James Savage, a voting machine warehouse custodian in Delaware County, suffered physical and emotional distress due to “deliberate, malicious, and defamatory statements and insinuations” made by the former president, Giuliani and their associates after they falsely accused him of uploading 50,000 votes for Joe Biden, according to the outlet.

So, it’s not just Dominion. And it looks like Christie has had it with Trump’s former lawyer. Giuliani should have never tied himself to a toxic figure like Trump. Hindsight, dude. Get some.
