Trump Actually Claimed That One Of His Speeches Drew A Bigger Crowd That MLK’s Historical “I Have a Dream” Speech During Addled Public Appearance: “There Were More People”

You have GOT to be kidding me...

Just when you think Donald Trump couldn’t possibly get any worse… The one-term, twice-impeached, washed-up, scandal-ridden former guy swoops in and shouts, “Hold my beer!”

Yesterday, ex-President Trump gave remarks to an audience at the annual Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in Nashville, Tennessee, where the man had the full-blown audacity to openly and proudly brag that one of his past speeches drew a larger crowd than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s historical “I Have A Dream” speech.

Believe me, I wish I were making this up.

Trump, as expected, spent a good portion of his Faith and Freedom Conference speech absolutely railing against the explosive public January 6th House Select Committee hearings that he claims to not care about at all. He also didn’t miss a beat in once again, for the umpteenth hundred time, declaring that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” against him, which apparently led him to the ages-old, tired topic of his crowd sizes.

The ex-president went on to specifically reference a July 4, 2020, speech of his, in which he claims he managed to rope in a crowd size that superseded the crowd at Dr. King’s iconic 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech.

“They were there, and nobody ever mentions that, they never show it,” Trump complained during the Faith and Freedom conference, barely managing to even make any sense. “I have never seen it on television where they have a helicopter shot of Washington with numbers of, I won’t say it, because if I say it okay, I’ll get wiped out. You know, it’s very interesting. On July 4, I gave a speech two years ago at the Mall and it was the same Mall [where Martin Luther King Jr gave his speech].”

The deranged former guy went on to claim that the settings of both his July 2020 speech and MLK’s historical 1963 speech were identical because both public addresses were delivered in the same location.

Trump declared to the ultra-Conservative crowd:

Dr. King gave a speech and it was great. The I had a dream speech. It was great. How good was that? But they showed the picture and it was massive, tremendous numbers of people. They said it was a million people, one million people. And then I gave my speech and they showed the same thing. It’s hard to believe, many, many decades later, but it’s identical architecture, identical pools.”

Ultimately, Donald Trump concluded to his audience that his comparable speech garnered a larger crowd size than Dr. King’s.

So his, they said, one million people. Now, my pictures were exactly the same. But the people were slightly closer together. They were more compact, but exactly the same. But there were more people. They were tighter together if you look at it.”

I wish this were a joke.
