Oh, to be a fly on the wall (or Mike Pence’s head) in the White House right now. I can only imagine the panic that is ensuing right now as most of Trump’s allies are shedding him like snakes’ skin. One might wonder what Trump is thinking by refusing to concede. What pathway towards victory is left for him? Well, we may have the answer.
According to CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta, a source said that Trump’s inner circle is keeping him afloat and that the few that have yet to break away from the losing president are enabling his delusions of still winning.
Trump adviser said Giuliani and others in inner circle are enabling the president as he refuses to grasp the reality that the WH is slipping away. “People are enabling him,” adviser said, calling situation inside WH right now “chaos.”

It is not surprising that Russian propaganda specialist Rudy Guiliani, who is most famous for tucking his shirt in and nothing else, is one of the few that are helping to prevent Trump from grasping reality. I can only assume his offspring are also trying to convince him that there is some other avenue than accepting defeat — they probably understand their relevancy is shot after Donald is removed from office.

Trump and the few close allies he still has that are enabling him will soon find out that their legal actions are baseless, their accusations of illegal ballots are just lies, and eventually, their ability to stall will come to an end — and on January 20th we will swear in a new president. It will be both interesting and terrifying, however, to see the peak of their desperation as they do their best to keep hold of the presidency no matter what.
