Trump Aides Reportedly Worried As President Wants To Be On The Road Every Day Until Election: “He’s Going To Kill Himself”

Is he trying to kill himself or others?

Donald Trump has been flailing in the polls as Democratic nominee Joe Biden has a strong lead in even battleground states that the president won in 2016. And there doesn’t seem to be a way out for Trump following a disastrous debate performance in which he interrupted Biden and moderator Chris Wallace over one hundred times. Then, of course, the president contracted COVID-19 — the very disease that he downplayed for months as Americans died.

So, now he came up with another hair-brained idea. According to Axios, Trump has asked his campaign to put him on the road every day from now until Nov. 3rd. And interestingly, we don’t know when the super-spreader president contracted the coronavirus as the administration continues to be evasive about the specifics.

Team Trump is now scheduling events to make the daily events happen, according to what two sources familiar with the discussions told the news outlet. However, one adviser warned, “He’s going to kill himself.”

The campaign is freaking out over Trump’s declining approval rating with seniors, which is a crucial voting bloc.

“He really f—-d up with seniors when he said not to worry about the virus and not to let it control your life,” one Trump adviser told Axios. “There are so many grandparents who’ve gone almost a year without being able to see grandchildren.”

In 2016, Trump carried the senior vote over Hillary Clinton by thin margins, but that’s not happening this time. Indeed, Trump’s approval rating has fallen among older Americans, many of them feeling especially isolated and at-risk amid the raging pandemic that the president failed to act upon. Even a small shift among this bloc of voters could pose a serious threat to the president’s reelection. And even Republicans were willing to throw grandma under the bus for the economy, and now, they’re pushing to open schools, so kids are under that bus, too.

Instead of keeping Americans safe — and that’s in a president’s job description — Trump has continued to hold super-spreader events. The president is even holding an event in Florida on Monday. That’s certainly not going to win any seniors over. Trump has mocked Biden for wearing a protective face mask and practicing social distancing, and we’re sure that won’t help him win over the senior demographic either.
