There's so much to unpack here...

Welcome to yet another one of those instances where all I can really say is, you can’t make this stuff up. Not even if you tried.

Following the FBI’s search and seizure warrant raid they executed at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago country club at the beginning of this month, the federal law enforcement agency released a generally itemized list of documents that agents were able to successfully seize from the ex-president’s country club turned post-White House home. Among the items listed by the FBI was item 1a — described by officials as, simply, “info re: President of France.”

At first glance by the average Joe, nothing about that really seems all that juicy or interesting in the slightest, especially when compared to the fact that Donald allegedly had highly-classified, top-secret information on nuclear weapons stashed at his Palm Beach compound. It definitely makes “info re: President of France” sound like small potatoes.

But, Rolling Stone has made waves with a new report that seems to open the lid on what that “info” actually is and, according to the report, not only is it something that Donald Trump has been pretty obsessed with for a number of years now, it’s apparently pretty damn vulgar as well.

The report alleges that Trump has long been bragging to some of his closest allies, associates, and insiders — both during and after his presidential term — that he is supposedly in possession of dirt pertaining to French President Emmanuel Macron and his “naughty” private sex life, according to two sources with insider knowledge who spoke with the publication.

The outlet notes that “It’s not clear whether the Macron-related document the FBI seized during the raid had anything at all to do with the French president’s personal life. Nor is it clear whether the information on Macron seized from Mar-a-Lago is derived from U.S. intelligence collection or even classified.” However, the revelation of the information in the Mar-a-Lago raid has apparently triggered a bit of a global freakout that’s only worsened upon the news of Trump’s past talks of the “naughty” details of Macron’s love life that “[not] very many people know.” Officials have since been working diligently to determine if the information Trump was in possession of signified some kind of national-security breach.

The inside sources noted that Trump was heavy on the frivolous bragging and gossip, but light on the actual details when it came to the alleged Macron dirt, leading one of them to note, “It is often hard to tell if he’s bullshitting or not.”

While there’s no telling what portion of the information is legitimate intelligence and what’s schoolyard drama, it certainly goes to further prove the point that Donald Trump can’t be trusted with a damn thing — the man will always run his mouth.
