Trump Apparently Boycotting St Patrick’s Day Event, Blames Pelosi Over “Ongoing Tension”

He's so childish!

It seems that even a massive stock market plummet, a surge in Joe Biden’s campaign and a deadly virus sweeping the globe still isn’t enough to distract Donald Trump from the fact that he’s really mad at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Despite the fact that there’s literally a plethora of more important things for Donald to pick from and divert his focus to, that is one particular grudge that he seemingly plans to hold onto for the rest of eternity, and he continues to prove as much.

According to a new report from the Irish Times, Trump won’t be attending an annual bipartisan St. Patrick’s Day luncheon, traditionally held by the current House Speaker and attended by the president, and according to his White House, it’s all Nancy’s fault — citing “ongoing tension” between Pelosi and Trump and Donald’s reasoning behind the petty boycott.

One White House official told Politico, “Since the Speaker has chosen to tear this Nation apart with her actions and her rhetoric, the President will not participate in moments where she so often chooses to drive discord and disunity.”

This is the first time a sitting president has not attended the bipartisan event, one of Washington’s age-old traditions, since 2003 when George W. Bush turned down the invitation just days before the Iraqi invasion by the United States.

Reports indicate that Donald will instead be hosting Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar at the White House on Thursday.

Frankly, this is just further proof that we have a toddler in the White House. Donald Trump is petty, childish, and immature and has always and will always put his personal grudges and temper tantrums above the well being of this nation. We can only hope that his reign of ridiculousness is almost over so maybe we can get the semblance of a respectable country back in our grasp.
