Trump Appears To Be Preoccupied With Rumors About His Health, Reportedly Bragged About His Performance On A Cognitive Test From Two Years Ago While In A Reelection Campaign Meeting

He is completely obsessed!

Ever since the debacle with the “slippery” ramp at West Point and his apparent inability to lift a glass of water to his mouth without a struggle, Donald Trump has been notably obsessed with the way the press and the people around him perceive the state of his health.

Over the past few weeks, reports have indicated that Trump is none too happy with the way the media is reporting on his apparent health issues — Frankly, it seems he’s rather consumed with making sure that he is portrayed and perceived as smarter and more mentally agile than Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

And according to a new report from the Washington Post, his obsession is rapidly leaking into his social life.

The Post reports that, during a recent White House meeting regarding his reelection campaign, Trump broke away from the topic of the meeting to brag about his alleged stellar performance on a 10-minute cognitive test that took place back in 2018, a whole two years ago, that consisted of pictures of animals and various basic, simple questions designed to test an individual for cognitive impairment.

The Post spoke with two different sources who were present at the meeting in question, both of whom confirmed Trump’s boastful rant about the simple cognitive assessment.

Throughout this election season, Trump has made a serious habit out of attacking the cognitive abilities and mental clarity of his clear presidential opponent, often referring to him with insults such as “Sleepy Joe” — A habit that he’s carried with him since the last presidential race, in which he regularly attacked Hillary Clinton’s stamina and overall health.

One of Trump’s biggest campaign tactics has always been painting his opponent as physically and mentally weak.

However, since the media has recently latched on to Trump’s numerous apparent health issues, the Post reports that Donald’s obsession has recently shifted from portraying his opponent as weak, to making sure that he is perceived as strong, leaving him wholly preoccupied with the way own physical and mental health is being portrayed.

The fact that the Biden campaign has recently honed in on Trump’s various “symptoms” in their latest round of political ads has certainly seemed to fuel Trump’s deep-seated obsession.

But it looks as though his attempts to paint his health in a better light has unsurprisingly backfired on him, ultimately serving as yet another source of criticism.

Hawaii Democratic Senator Brian Schatz said, “In the middle of the worst economy in a century and with more than a hundred thousand Americans dead, this guy is primarily concerned with not looking weak.”

“And his endless, bottomless insecurity was onstage, in three dimensions, during that storytelling moment, for everyone to see. I’ve seen a lot of crazy things in the last four years but that display of juvenile behavior and self-regard will go in the Trump time capsule.”

Trump is once again so preoccupied with himself that the rest of the enormous problems in this nation appear to be falling out of his line of vision.

If he keeps this up, he’s going to lose this election for us.
