Donald Trump claimed during his campaign that he would surround himself by the “best people,” and that appears to mean individuals that will massage his massive but tender ego. John McLaughlin, a long-time Republican pollster based in New York, is so bad at his job that the National Republican Congressional Committee stopped working with him. McLaughlin is laughable at best and was responsible for one of the worst polling disasters. And so, of course, Trump brought him onboard.
Trump has been triggered for two days over CNN’s latest poll numbers with Biden in the lead. Biden is doing so well that the former Vice President is faring better than former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton did at this point — and she won the popular vote. On Sunday, Trump whined that it was “very unfair” that Biden was in the lead.
On Monday, Trump announced that he’s retained McLaughlin to disprove CNN’s poll numbers, and called it a suppression poll — because he’s always the victim.

Trump’s meltdown is kind of hilarious to watch as he unravels in front of our eyes. But this guy was hired to lead the country, and we’re dealing with two national crises right now.
Excuse me, please, I’m going to go hire someone to tell me I look twenty years younger than I am. That will show my haters a thing or two!
