New York City mayor Bill de Blasio announced that a Black Lives Matter mural will be painted on the street directly in front of Trump Tower, and that seems to have upset the president for some reason. Donald Trump falsely claims that he’s done a lot for African-Americans, and black folks are a coveted voting bloc. If Trump wanted to appear less racist than he is, he would cheer on the mural to show support for the Black community, but instead, he took to Twitter to whine about it. Those three words really seem to bother President Both Sides a lot.
The president claims that New York City police are “furious” over the mural, but if that’s true, that highlights the problems most of us have with those in law enforcement who don’t seem to realize that black lives matter.

Trump should have felt honored by the mural, as one Twitter user pointed out.
Painting a Black Lives Matter mural in front of Trump Tower on 5th Avenue should be considered an honor not an attack. Only a racist president would be so outraged about racial equality and justice that such a mural would inflame his emotions so much that he makes this outburst.

Trump once again revealed who he truly is. Donald J. Trump has been a racist for his entire life. We need someone in office who knows that black lives matter. Americans are sick of this president’s racist rhetoric that he uses to divide us even further.
