Here lately, the tell-all books about disgraced ex-president Donald Trump have been coming out in droves and, to say the very least, they haven’t been flattering for the guy. In fact, we’ve learned more about Donald’s uncontrollable temper and complete disregard for the health and safety of this nation in the last few weeks than we did his entire term — and we learned a lot while he was in the White House.

The revelations coming out against him got so intense that he almost imeediately started releasing statements giving blanket denials of most everything included in these “fiction stories” that are coming out against him. But let’s face it, we all know he did every last bit of it.

In fact, this revelation in particular sounds just like him.

Recently, the Daily Beast obtained an advanced copy of journalist Michael Wolff’s tell-all book, Landslide, ahead of its release date, and shared with the world an interesting account of the former president’s feelings regarding his ex-Attorney General as the election was crumbling out of his favor before his eyes.

According to the book, Trump was desperately trying to get U.S. attorneys in swing states to assist him in his attempts to sway the results of the election by opening investigations into his baseless and categorically false claims of election fraud. When that didn’t work out for him, he apparently laid the blame on his then-Attorney General, calling him a “phony” who “would have licked the floor if I won.”

“Trump had been personally calling around to various U.S. attorneys in swing-state districts, among them his appointee William McSwain in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania,’ to try and convince them to open their own probes,” the Beast report reads. “When they did not, Trump blamed his A.G., saying that ‘if I had won, Barr would have licked the floor if I asked him to. What a phony!'”

As you’d expect, Trump’s ire and anger weren’t reserved solely for his AG, though — it spread like wildfire across his administration as he watched his chances at a second term crumble right in front of him.

On the heels of the U.S. Supreme Court’s rejection of a Texas lawsuit that challenged the election results in several different states, Trump was positively fuming at “his” three Supreme Court justices, as well — most specifically, Brett Kavanaugh.

“Where would he be without me? I saved his life. He wouldn’t even be in a law firm. Who would have had him? Nobody. Totally disgraced. Only I saved him,” Trump fumed.

According to the book, Trump also blamed advisor Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey who had played Joe Biden in their debate prep, for giving him COVID-19. Wolff writes that Christie “had sat across from him at the debate prep table, and Trump had seen the spittle come out of his mouth and tried to duck from the droplets.”
