Just this morning, we reported on the breaking new press release from New York Attorney General Letitia James announcing her recently filed motion to force ex-President Donald Trump to testify in her mounting investigation into his family business, the Trump Organization, and their numerous alleged financial crimes. In her news release, as well as the court documents she recently filed, the attorney general cited “significant evidence” that Donald Trump had personally committed fraud — making the whole ordeal that much more damning for the one-term, twice-impeached former president.
It didn’t take long at all for the Trump camp to catch wind of the bombshell new development against them, and it certainly didn’t take long for them to respond with what has become a somewhat trademarked hissy fit — of course, being pushed and peddled to the public by Trump’s spokeswoman Liz Harrington.
Taking to Twitter just shortly following the bombshell news, Harrington quoted a statement from a Trump Organization spokesperson who was unsurprisingly enraged in response to Letitia James’ newest move against the ex-president.
“The only one misleading the public is Letitia James. She defrauded New Yorkers by basing her entire candidacy on a promise to get Trump at all costs without having seen a shred of evidence and in violation of every conceivable ethical rule,” the statement posted by Harrington reads.

Of course, if you ask me (and most of the rest of Twitter, it seems) all this serves as further proof that Trump and his people are absolutely terrified. As they should be.
