I’ve said more times than I can count now, over the course of the last 3 and a half years, that Donald Trump is a man-child in an ill-fitted suit. His relentless temper tantrums and eating habits that consist of soft drinks and gag-inducing amounts of ketchup alone were enough to confirm that.
Nevertheless, Donnie went the extra mile to prove to us all that he’s really nothing more than a 74-year-old toddler during the recent White House “Spirit of America Showcase” — an event that appeared to celebrate products made in America.
Part of the showcase was a display of baseball bats, and evidently, those were Donnie boy’s most favorite of them all.
On the heels of wrapping up his speech at the White House event, Trump toured the halls full of various American-made products.

When he got to the baseball bat display table belonging to Texas Timber wood bat company, Donald lingered a bit to chat to the owner of the display, and ultimately picked himself up a bat, channeled his inner Babe Ruth, and gave it a good swing in the halls of the White House — appearing as though he was showing off for the gaggle of reporters gathered to cover the official event.
Now, Trump alleges that he was quite the baseball “star” back in his days at the New York Military Academy and has even gone so far as to claim that he could have gone pro had he wanted to. However, we’ve yet to see any legitimate footage of Donald playing the game surface for the rest of the world to see.
In my limited knowledge about baseball, it looked as though Donald had the basics down pat. However, if I were a betting lady, I’d venture to say that his baseball experience is much like everything else in his life — a big, fat show to cover up an even bigger, fatter lie.
