Trump Comes Up With New Reason To Fire Jeff Sessions, This Is So Insanely Childish

Could the President of the United States get any more infantile?

Donald Trump has spent more than enough time telling his Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, how much he resents appointing him. In fact, the president has communicated this several times for the entire world to see, whining about Sessions numerous times on Twitter. Trump has even mentioned that he wanted to fire Sessions due to the AG’s decision to recuse himself in the Russia investigation – but the president has just come up with a new reason for getting rid of Sessions, and it perfectly matches Trump’s infantile nature.

Politico has just reported that Trump wants to get rid of Sessions for a completely unrelated reason. Trump apparently hates Sessions’ Southern accent and way of speaking, and thinks it makes his administration look bad during television interviews. Yes, really. Politico reported:

Seized by paroxysms of anger, Trump has intermittently pushed to fire his attorney general since March 2017, when Sessions announced his recusal from the Russia investigation. If Sessions’ recusal was his original sin, Trump has come to resent him for other reasons, griping to aides and lawmakers that the attorney general doesn’t have the Ivy League pedigree the president prefers, that he can’t stand his Southern accent and that Sessions isn’t a capable defender of the president on television — in part because he ‘talks like he has marbles in his mouth,’ the president has told aides.”

The report also stated that Trump has been trying to rally GOP senators to prepare for Sessions’ dismissal:

Trump raised the prospect of firing Sessions last week in a phone conversation with Graham, according to two Capitol Hill aides. Graham pressed the president to hold off until after the midterm elections.”

This report just further proves that Trump cares way more about his image and ratings than actually doing the job he was elected to do.
