President Donald Trump has a habit of lying and denying things that he clearly said in the past, but the president’s denial of his own words are getting really ridiculous at this point.

Earlier today, Trump denied that he promised to pay Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) $1 million to a charity of her choice if she would take a DNA test and prove her Native American heritage. Warren responded and actually went out and performed the test, which revealed that she was in fact part Native American. When Trump was confronted by reporters at the White House over this today, Trump’s response was, “Who cares?” The president also denied his words:

I didn’t say that. You’d better read it again.”

Clearly the president forgot that his words were actually displayed on national television during his campaign rally on July 5th. Trump’s exact words were:

I will give you a million dollars, to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian. I have a feeling she will say ‘no.’ “

You can watch Trump say these words — and then deny them — in this mashup below:

Trump is going to have to answer to Warren sooner or later, as the Senator has been tweeting at Trump, asking him to pay up and send the check to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center.

Of course, considering that Trump has regularly screwed charities over and broken promises to donate money, none of us are hopeful he’ll follow through. You can watch Trump’s full comments about Warren below:

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
