Donald Trump is clearly still clinging to the pipe dream of somehow flipping this election back into his favor, despite the fact that it’s over, the fat lady has sung, the votes are counted, the states have been called, and Joe Biden has officially been announced as president-elect by every news network across the nation, Fox News included. However, it’s clear that the outgoing president has something to fear when it comes to leaving the protection of the presidency because he simply refuses to give it up.
Trump and his team certainly wasted no time, threatening to file lawsuits and litigations on the night of the election, before a fraction of the votes had even been counted, and they’ve since followed through with countless, baseless lawsuits, court filings, and manic tweets — making it crystal clear that he intends to fight this to the very bitter end. And it’s also increasingly clear that he’s heavily relying on his base of rabid supporters to help keep him going.
Much like their modern-day Dear Leader, the MAGA crowd has largely refused to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election — holding multiple events and rallies across the nation in an attempt to somehow sway the outcome of the people’s voice. To say the very least, this has been a boost to Trump’s already over-inflated ego of epic proportions.
Today, one of the events, dubbed the “Million MAGA March” is taking place in Washington, D.C and it seems Donald just couldn’t resist his urge to get out there and soak up some of that ego-boosting goodness.
Since the announcement of the event, Donald had been teasing an appearance, and he made good on it this morning when he seemed to channel his inner dictator and take a drive through the moderate size crowd in his motorcade:

As you can see in this angle from The Hill, the crowd that gathered for the march didn’t appear to be overly impressive, but I have no doubts that it was enough to make Donald feel like a regular Ayatollah:
