According to new reporting from The Daily Mail, the Trump family came together today for Ivana Trump’s “celebration of life,” following the Czech-American former model turned Manhattan socialite’s untimely death in her Upper East Side home last week. The publication reports that the 73-year-old’s children — Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump, who she shared with ex-President Donald Trump — remembered their mother as the “embodiment of the American dream” at the New York City funeral today.
The Daily Mail reports that Ivanka and Eric spoke before 100 mourners at the service at St. Vincent Ferrer Church on the Upper East Side this afternoon that was attended by ex-President Trump, his third and current wife Melania, and their 16-year-old son Barron.
Ivanka Trump said of her late mother:
Growing up, my mother didn’t tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to — she showed me.
She was a trailblazer by men and women alike. My mother once told me there was nothing she couldn’t do in heels. She taught us how to spear fish and then cook what we caught. My mom expanded our minds.
She had brains; she had beauty. She was the embodiment of the American dream … She was a force of nature, could beat any man down the slopes, any woman on the runway.”

Eric said in his address, “She ruled the three of us [kids] with an iron fist but also a heart of gold.”
The publication reports that the Trump family is expected to travel to New Jersey following the service this afternoon, where they will attend a private reception at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.
