Donald Trump, of course, while speaking in front of the White House, turned a policy event into a MAGA-rally as he boasted about his deregulations while giving the country a visual that only a former game show host would provide. In the background, a crane is seen lifting the weights of regulation from the bed of a red truck, while showing the burden of regulations weighing down a blue truck. It was a circus that also displayed an unwell president delving into a crazy-time rant.
Trump said that things are “like nobody’s ever seen before,” and I have to agree — since the coronavirus death toll in the United States is staggering beyond comprehension.
Trump then bizarrely claimed that before he was president, people had to push the dishwasher button repeatedly to make it work correctly, and I have no idea what that means. But now, Trump credited himself with allowing dishwashers to have more water in them.
This is what crazy looks like:
Trump, in this speech on deregulation, is telling his story about how “you didn’t have any water” in energy efficient dishwashers, so “the people that do the dishes” had to run them multiple times.

Trump on why he worked to weaken efficiency standards for dishwashers and showers: “In many places, in most places of the country, water is not a problem. They don’t know what to do with it. It’s called ‘rain.'”

“Showerheads, you take a shower, the water doesn’t come out. You want to wash your hands, the water doesn’t come out. What do you do? Do you stand there longer or take a shower longer?” – the president on deregulation

After Trump’s insane rant about dishwashers, he said that his hair has “to look perfect.”
“We made it so dishwashers now have a lot more water, and in many places, in most places of the country, water is not a problem … it’s called rain” – Trump is out here doing a “The Price is Right” episode and whining about wimpy lib faucets that don’t have enough water pressure pic.twitter.com/3zDoAsKTlq

Our tax dollars paid for President Circus Peanut’s performance today, by the way.
