As I’m sure you’ve seen by now, as news travels at the speed of light these days, CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins reported that President Donald Trump “abruptly” ended an interview at the White House with 60 Minutes correspondent Leslie Stahl.

“Apparently there was some drama while President Trump was taping his 60 Minutes interview today,” Collins reported on Twitter. “He abruptly ended his solo interview after around 45 minutes & did not return for a scheduled walk & talk he was supposed to tape with Pence, @abdallahcnn and I are told by sources.”

Thus far, we’re not sure what happened to make Trump slam the breaks on the interview that certainly didn’t last the full hour like the title of the show claims and not even return for the walk and talk he was scheduled to film with his Vice President Mike Pence. However, we have no doubt that whatever it was, it was ridiculously immature and petty.

Trump himself all but confirmed as much with his own tweet on the heels of the reports.

“I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes, PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about…” Trump wrote on Twitter, followed by a second tweet reading, “Everyone should compare this terrible Electoral Intrusion with the recent interviews of Sleepy Joe Biden!”

Frankly, heaven only knows if we’ll ever know the true reason behind Trump’s ridiculous antics this evening. But to say that it feels as though a petulant toddler is running this nation would honestly be an insult to petulant toddlers.

These two weeks can’t go fast enough at this point.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
