Trump Goes Off The Rails After UN Speech, Attacks SCOTUS Nominee’s Accusers In Unhinged Rant

Trump's team should have stopped him before he could even begin.

Donald Trump has abandoned the position he held last week, when first he stated that the first accuser of his Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh should be heard. Since then, he has not only insulted that accuser, but is launching a major attack on a few other women who have been brave enough to come forward about their own horrendous experiences with Kavanaugh.

After Trump made a speech at the United Nations this morning, Trump went off topic and made several impromptu comments about Kavanaugh and the additional two women who have claimed that Kavanaugh had also done horrendous, nonconsensual things to them. Like the true rape apologist Trump is (and someone who has been accused of rape and sexual assault countless times), the president defended his Supreme Court nominee, like he has defended many other men who have hurt women:

Judge Kavanaugh is an outstanding person and I am with him all the way.”

Kavanaugh has already denied the allegations that he tried to sexually assault a 15 year old girl, and is now defending himself against newer accusations that he exposed his genitals to a college classmate.

During his unscripted rant, Trump conveniently forgot that the Republican Party held up the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland for over a year when Barack Obama was president. Trump whined about how “unfair” his nominee’s delay was:

I think it could be, there could be a chance of this could be one of the single most unfair, unjust things to happen to a candidate for anything.”

Trump continued to attack the accusers, stating that these brave women were only now coming forward for “totally political” reasons, discrediting their stories entirely. Trump said:

For people to come out of the woodwork from 36 years ago and 30 years ago and never mentioned it, all of a sudden it happens. In my opinion, it’s totally political. It’s totally political.”

And people wonder why women don’t come forward. This is exactly what we’d expect from a man who brags about sexually assaulting women. You can watch Trump’s disgusting rant below:
