Trump Is Asked About Jared Kushner’s WhatsApp Use, His Response Is Beyond Ridiculous

He responded the only way he knew how.

In yet another example of why Donald Trump should have never been able to put his family members in his administration, the president is now being bombarded with questions about how he’s going to handle the fact that his son-in-law and advisor, Jared Kushner, is in deep trouble for conducting official government business over WhatsApp.

While many of us believe that in time, the entire Trump family will be going to jail for their shady business deals and multiple violations, the revelation about Kushner has definitely added more urgency. The president hardly knows what to do, either, and the best he can manage is to straddle a fine line between lying and denying that anything is happening at all.

In an interview with reporters today, Trump was asked about Kushner’s WhatsApp use, and it was clear that Trump still has no idea what to say about it. So he pretended to be completely oblivious as he said:

I can’t hear you. I know nothing about it. I never heard that. I have never heard about it.”

We all know that’s a lie because Trump pretty much lives in front of a television — and spends way too much time on Twitter to have missed that news. Trump uses this “I know nothing” excuse whenever he’s in a big pickle and he has no way out. The fact of the matter is that he and his family members have never been closer to jail time and it’s a moment that most of the country has been anxiously waiting for.
