The House committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol released its sixth batch of subpoenas on Tuesday targeting some of former President Donald Trump’s highest-profile staff, including White House adviser Stephen Miller and press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Also included in the latest batch of subpoenas are former White House personnel director John McEntee, former deputy chief of staff Christopher Liddell, and ex-Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser Keith Kellogg.
And let’s just say that the twice-impeached one-term president isn’t taking it very well, calling committee members “politically ambitious hacks.” Trump released a statement tweeted out by his spokesperson Liz Harrington to circumvent his ban on the behemoth social site.
Trump claims that the actual insurrection happened on Nov. 3 when he lost the election to Joe Biden in popular and electoral votes. Trump claims to have “so much proof,” but argued that the “Fake News Media refuses to print it or show it,” and I have no idea what he’s talking about. Over 60 court cases have been slapped down for having no evidence to back up the pro-Trump attorneys’ claims of widespread voter fraud.
Trump called the insurrection a “protest,” insisting that the committee should be “studying the Fraudulent Election that led to the protest.”
“As the LameStream Media knows, the facts are there for all to see!” he added.

Twitter users pounced.
Clearly the statement of an innocent man who has nothing to hide. I mean if the records and testimony you could provide would so easily exonerate you…🤡

Perhaps Mr So Much Proof would like to testify before the committee then and produce said proof.

How do Trump supporters read his statements and not see that he’s out of his mind?
