It seems the heat is certainly getting much more intense for former President Donald Trump, as both his own daughter Ivanka Trump and his son-in-law, Ivanka’s husband Jared, have now officially voluntarily testified before the January 6th House Select Committee that’s investigating not only the infamous Capitol attack, but Donald’s specific role in inciting it. But as if their testimonies weren’t bad enough for Donald’s day, a recent report from POLITICO now reveals that the January 6th House Panel is currently preparing to decide whether or not they will officially call on Donald Trump himself to appear before them and testify in their investigation.
House Select Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson said recently, “We’ll be talking about the likelihood of a Trump interview in the not too distant future.”
The disgraced, scandal-ridden ex-president recently participated in a lengthy interview with the Washington Post, where he said his potential appearance before the House Committee would be heavily dependent on “what the request is.”
Thompson has since responded to this statement from Trump, saying the ex-president’s vague answer with regard to whether or not he would appear before the panel is quite “interesting.”

“If he doesn’t know what coming before our committee would be about, then that’s kind of difficult because we’ve been in business over here,” Thompson stated.
Just recently, Donald Trump was publicly attacking the House Committee and its members, calling them “scum.”
“Shifty Adam Schiff and the same ‘scum’ who fought us on Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and more, coupled with Crazy Liz Cheney and Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, have gone on, as the Unselect Committee, to try and destroy the lives of many wonderful people. It can’t be allowed to happen!” Trump’s unhinged statement last week read.
