Donald Trump, on Thursday, described America’s heritage and history as under assault from the left. At the same time, he tried and failed to say words such as “immortable principles of our nation’s founders,” as he delved into his fascistic speech while decrying anti-racism teachings and “cancel culture” and announced plans for a new commission to promote “patriotic education” in U.S. schools. Lest we forget, this is the same president that alleges that he tries to maintain calm.
Trump was sweating even though the weather in Washinton is cool today, and the president sounded sedated. And, of course, Trump’s speech was peppered with lies. At this point, after seeing Trump sweating and slurring words on countless occasions, Americans are pretty sure that the president is on something. It’s an issue that’s been speculated before — many times.

I’m watching and was just thinking the same thing (about him being sedated). I don’t think the question is whether Trump is sedated during this speech, but how heavily he’s sedated. If he read his speech any more slowly he’d stop.
