Trump Is Reportedly Stepping In To Save The White Couple That Pointed Guns At BLM Protesters: “These People Were Standing There, Never Used It, And They Were Legal, The Weapons”

He makes me sick!

As I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, as the Black Lives Matter protests continue to show no signs of stopping across the nation, disgruntled white folks who can’t stand the idea of a black man being equal to them in any way are becoming more and more insane.

It seems to be something along the lines of a “maybe we can’t make them slaves again, but we’re damn sure not gonna stand for not being allowed to murder them when we feel like it” kind of stance — which leads us to people like Mark and Patricia McCloskey.

As if their names didn’t already scream “racist, privileged, white assholes,” their actions during a recent BLM protest on their street certainly did.

As the protesters made their way past the McCloskey’s St. Louis mansion, the husband and wife stood outside their million-dollar home pointing guns at and threatening the peaceful demonstrators.

Pictures of the disgusting incident rapidly made waves on social media and St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden has announced that the couple is under review for criminal charges as a result of their actions and warrants have been served.

And lo and behold, guess whose side the president is on?

Missouri Republican Governor Mike Parson stated that Donald Trump “doesn’t like what he sees and the way these people are being treated.” And he was not referring to the protesters that were threatened by racist, white idiots.

As quoted by the Washington Post, Parson said he believes that the president and Attorney General Bill Barr “are going to take a look” at the McCloskeys’ case.

“The president said that he would do everything he could within his powers to help with this situation and he would be taking action to do that,” Parson stated.

But it’s not just the Missouri Governor’s word we’re going off of here.

In a recent interview with the right-wing site, Townhall, Trump went on the defense of the gun-toting couple and called the criminal case against them “a disgrace,” saying, “these people were standing there, never used it, and they were legal, the weapons.”

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is not impressed with the president’s behavior surrounding the case and said in a statement that the president and the governor of the state are playing politics with this criminal case.

“Today, both the Governor and Donald Trump came after me for doing my job and investigating a case,” Gardner said in a statement. “It is unbelievable the Governor of the state of Missouri would seek advice from one of the most divisive leaders in our generation to overpower the discretion of a locally elected prosecutor.”

I wish that I could say I’m even slightly surprised.
