Trump Is Still Big Mad As He Seemed To Officially Suggest That He’s Dumping Mike Pence As His Potential 2024 Running Mate, Claims He Doesn’t Think “The People Would Accept” The Former VP

Trump is breaking up with him for good.

I honestly feel like ex-President Donald Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence have publicly “broken up” more times than I can even count at this point — as they’ve spent the last year-plus in what’s essentially been a pissing match of who can insult who the hardest. But, it seems that this may actually be the final knell in the coffin of the Pence/Trump former bromance.

In a new interview with the Washington Examiner, the disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former guy seemed to officially imply that should he take a third stab at the US presidency in 2024 (like we all know he fully intends to,) ole Mike Pence won’t be the one running by his side.

“I don’t think the people would accept,” Mike Pence on the ticket, Trump declared during the interview. Of course, as noted by NBC News, Donnie would first have to secure the 2024 Republican nomination before choosing a running mate even becomes a thing, but I digress.

“Mike and I had a great relationship except for the very important factor that took place at the end. We had a very good relationship,” Trump went on to state before confirming what we’ve all known for some time, “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time.”

Donald is, of course, referring to Mike Pence’s infamous refusal to kick back the certification of the 2020 presidential election Electoral College votes that declared Joe Biden the official winner of the White House, as part of Trump’s desperate, unhinged attempt to overthrow his brutal, humiliating election loss. Pence was quick to assert that he didn’t even have the power as vice president to do what Trump was demanding of him, but the former guy continues even now to disagree with Pence’s position on the matter.

Trump’s public break up comes amid several public snubs, insults, and disagreements with his former boss from Pence in recent weeks.

Frankly, it seems to be about time that both of these grown, adult men get over this relationship drama.
