The Trump administration is really going to regret not being able to control the president’s social media activity. In his highly panicked state, no one is off limits for Donald Trump anymore — not even the Department of Justice and his own team.
Trump was up and at it early this morning, ending the week with a ridiculous meltdown that lasted several hours. As expected, the whole thing happened on Twitter. In several tweets, the president attacked the Justice Department due to surveillance warrant information released last night about Trump’s former campaign advisor, Carter Page. The information stated that government officials had “misled the courts.” Reacting to this news, Trump said:
Congratulations to @JudicialWatch and @TomFitton on being successful in getting the Carter Page FISA documents. As usual they are ridiculously heavily redacted but confirm with little doubt that the Department of “Justice” and FBI misled the courts. Witch Hunt Rigged, a Scam!”
Then, of course, he used it to promote his own conspiracy theories about how his campaign was spied on, blaming former rival Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee and threatening that Republicans “must get tough now:”
Looking more & more like the Trump Campaign for President was illegally being spied upon (surveillance) for the political gain of Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC. Ask her how that worked out – she did better with Crazy Bernie. Republicans must get tough now. An illegal Scam!”

Further incriminating himself, Trump ended his rant by praising Russian leader Vladimir Putin and attacking the free press:

Trump has an odd way of trying to defend himself. He still hasn’t figured out that whenever he opens his mouth, he only makes himself look more guilty.
