Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the European Union, testified on Wednesday just before throwing the Trump administration under the proverbial bus, that the “president” did indeed take part in a Quid Pro Quo phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, thus confirming that the former reality show star was extorting a foreign government to get dirt on a political rival.
It was a very bad day for Trump and the public impeachment inquiry continues today. The “president” fired off a series of tweets claiming it was “a GREAT day” yesterday just before appearing to call Adam Schiff, chair of the Intelligence Committee, “human scum.”
Corrupt politician Adam Schiff’s lies are growing by the day. Keep fighting tough, Republicans, you are dealing with human scum who have taken Due Process and all of the Republican Party’s rights away from us during the most unfair hearings in American History……

It’s not a very good strategy to call an individual who is investigating you “human scum” but it’s 2019 and civility is no longer a thing, apparently. Trump is in for another rocky day today as Fiona Hill, the “president’s” former top adviser on Russia, and David Holmes, an embassy official in Kyiv, will testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee.
Hill is expected to confront Republicans in her opening remarks for a “fictional narrative” that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 elections.
“I refuse to be part of an effort to legitimize an alternative narrative that the Ukrainian government is a US adversary and that Ukraine—not Russia—attacked us in 2016,” Hill is expected to say.
Hill told impeachment investigators during her closed deposition that she resented the smear campaign that was launched against the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, by the “president’s” personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani.
Holmes is a diplomatic staffer who went to lunch in July in Kyiv with the ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, and heard a phone conversation between Sondland and Trump in which they discussed the “investigations” the “president” wanted from his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
So, go on, Mr. Trump, and call them “human scum,” too. Because your day is about to get worse. Buckle up, big guy, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
