Recently, former Attorney General Bill Barr has been trying to rehab his way back into society’s good graces, after he spent nearly four years doing everything in his power to flip the United States Department of Justice on its head in an effort to keep Donald Trump out of hot water and wield power against the now ex-president’s enemies. Barr infamously resigned from his DOJ position following the January 6th Capitol attack and in recent weeks has begun to try to worm his way back into the public under a newly rebranded anti-Trump image, as he peddles his new Trump-trashing, tell-all memoir.
Now, we’ve already determined that Barr’s no more genuine now than he’s ever been, as he admitted this morning that even with all the atrocious things he’s had to say about Trump, he’d still vote for the man if he managed to snag the 2024 Republican nomination.
But at this point, while Barr may be trying to get back in good with the American public, there’s frankly not a damn thing he can do to weasel back into Donald Trump’s good graces.
Recently, Barr sat down for an infamous interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, where the former Attorney General essentially laid the entire blame for the January 6th Capitol attack at the feet of the former president.

And boy, is Trump mad about it.
So mad, in fact, that he’s actually penned an angry letter to the NBC News anchor railing against the former head of the DOJ (that he hand-picked, mind you) and claiming that Barr has been corrupted by the elites in the media.
In his unhinged letter, the former guy claims that Barr “cares more about being accepted by the corrupt Washington Media and Elite than serving the American people. He was slow, lethargic, and I realized early on that he never had what it takes to make a great Attorney General.” He goes on to claim that the elite media “broke him just like a trainer breaks a horse.”
Axios obtained the opening paragraphs of Trump’s letter to the NBC anchor:
Bill Barr cares more about being accepted by the corrupt Washington Media and Elite than serving the American people. He was slow, lethargic, and I realized early on that he never had what it takes to make a great Attorney General. When the Radical Left Democrats threatened to hold him in contempt and even worse, to Impeach him, he became virtually worthless to Law and Order and Election Integrity. They broke him just like a trainer breaks a horse.
Despite massive amounts of evidence, with far more produced after his leaving, he refused to go after the fraud and irregularities that had so openly taken place in the 2020 Presidential Election. It was sad to watch! When he stated that there was no fraud in the Election, it was a virtual joke to anyone that knew what had actually gone on, in particular, within in the Swing States.
Enclosed is yesterday’s Wisconsin Report talking of widespread corruption. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and many other states are even now studying the disgraceful events that took place. In fact, William McSwain, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, stated that Barr did not allow him to look into the many corrupt things that happened in Philadelphia.”
Later on his in letter, Trump tells Holt that Barr was “terrified by the Radical Left” and proceeds to lob numerous other insults at his former AG.
In an interview with Savannah Guthrie this moring, Barr waved the onslaught of insults off as “par for the course.”
