Trump Promotes His California Golf Course On Twitter As Death Toll Passes 80,000 And Americans Are Not Happy: “We Could Convert It Into A Cemetery To Bury The 80,000 Americans Who Died Because Of Your Negligence”

He clearly cares more about profit than saving American lives.

Rather than express any empathy or concern with the continually rising death toll in the United States due to the coronavirus, President Donald Trump promoted his California golf course on Twitter. And Americans were NOT amused.

Trump promoted the Los Angeles golf course after it announced that it would re-open even as the state of California is still working to flatten the curve and the threat of a deadly second wave of the virus looms.

Promoting his golf course is a violation of the Emoluments Clause and is in poor taste since Americans are still dying.

Americans did not appreciate this utter lack of compassion and thrashed his tone-deaf tweet.

American lives are more important than a golf course, but Trump made it clear what his priorities are in this tweet. Adding further to the insult, he posted the tweet on Mother’s Day, which was a sad day this year due to the fact that many mothers have lost children to this virus, and many children have lost their mothers.
