"Pay attention to me!"

According to a news release from disgraced former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, the former broadcaster will sit down with Donald Trump in Texas and Florida for a speaking tour about the ex-president’s time in office. There is a lot to unpack here. O’Reilly was fired from Fox News in 2017 following an investigation into sexual harassment allegations, and the twice-impeached one-term president was accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women.

“From the pandemic that killed hundreds of thousands, to the speedy development of the vaccine, to the rise of the economy, to the global challenge from China, Donald Trump was the dominant decision-maker and the most powerful person in the world,” the statement reads.

“In a series of live conversations across the country, Mr. Trump and Historian/Journalist Bill O’Reilly will discuss exactly how things were accomplished, as well as challenges, both good and bad!” the statement continues.

“Dubbed “The History Tour,” President Trump will provide a never before heard inside view of his administration – which will be historical in and of itself,” it adds.

Trump weighed in, and of course, the former president mentioned the “Fake News Media.”

“These will be wonderful but hard-hitting sessions where we’ll talk about the real problems happening in the U.S., those that the Fake News Media never mention. I will be focusing on greatness for our Country, something seldom discussed in political dialogue,” Trump said. “If we don’t make our Country great again, we will soon no longer have a Country! I look forward to working with Bill, who right now has the #1 bestselling book, to openly discuss the real problems of our Country, and how to solve them. Additionally, it will be fun, fun, fun, for everyone who attends!”

It really should be called the jerk Trump off tour. We’re sure O’Reilly won’t be asking the tough questions, like, “Mr. Trump, do you regret holding super spreader events while dancing to YMCA while Americans were dying?” As for making our country “great,” Trump had four years to do that and failed miserably. Trump still hasn’t conceded the presidential race that he lost to Joe Biden over seven months ago. And without social media, Trump has been trying to remain relevant, but I don’t think a tour with O’Reilly will do that.
