In the newest of his typically insane “official statements” that he now seemingly uses to replace his hair-brained tweets of days past (before he was banned from the platform altogether) Donald Trump has had the audacity, the gumption, the absolute gall to launch a disgusting attack against NCA star LeBron James and his “racist rants” over a now-deleted tweet about an Ohio police officer.

“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League,” the statement released by the ex-president’s office reads.

“His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together!” Trump continued.

Trump’s comments were seemingly spurred by a tweet sent out and eventually deleted by LeBron James, in which he called for accountability for the Columbus, Ohio, police officer involved in the shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant.

“YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY,” the Los Angeles Lakers star wrote in the now-deleted social media post, captioning a photo of the policeman, Officer Nicholas Reardon, who was identified as the cop who shot and killed Bryant.

The NBA star’s tweet was quick to induce a flurry of backlash, laregly from Conservatives on social media, including notable names such as Senator Tom Cotton and Representative Mike Loychik. Ultimately, James deleted the tweet, saying he did so because it was “being used to create more hate.”

However, he did not back down on his stance regarding the matter, saying, “This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism.” James added that he is “so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police.”

“I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY,” he wrote.

James penned in an earlier tweet that despite the fact that he deleted the tweet that caused so much uproar, his “anger still is here for what happened that lil girl.”

“ANGER does any of us any good and that includes myself! Gathering all the facts and educating does though!” the basketball star wrote. “My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail!”

Perhaps James did let his emotions get the better of him for a moment. But his message is still on point and at the end of the day, Donald Trump is the last person walking this earth with any right to call anyone racist.
