Trump Sounding Defeated On Election Day, Says “It’s Been A Great Run”

Your run wasn't that good, by the way. At all.

Today is the day. The day we finally put a democratic end to this nightmare. The day we finally start a new chapter in America’s ever-changing story — and it looks like Trump sees the writing on the wall. After a long day of five campaign rallies on Monday Trump was scheduled to give a phone interview on Fox & Friends this morning not even 6 hours from his last rally. When he finally went on air he sounded beleaguered and defeated, it was that or he was incredibly intoxicated.

Virtually all the polls have Donald Trump behind, his allies, whether they be his GOP lapdogs or others have been slowly separating themselves from the incumbent President. Even Donald Trump may realize the veneer is wearing off because he seemed to dejectedly concede on the Fox program during the interview: “It’s been a great run,” Trump said, almost conscious of the fact that his chances of winning have eroded completely.

There has to be a point, even for Trump, when he realizes how bad he has fumbled his presidency. The 231,000 American lives lost on his watch still without a plan, the vitriol of a nation that has caused a voting surge of the likes we have never seen before — most of which are voting against him.

After the dust settles and the votes have finally been counted (despite his blusters that he will declare victory early) I doubt we will get an actual concession from him, this tired sub-conscious admittance of defeat is all we can probably hope for, but I will take it.
