Trump spends his days squealing all over Twitter claiming he’s the innocent victim of a “witch hunt” regarding everything from the Mueller report to his taxes and financial records. But despite that, Donald continues to outright contradict his words with his actions. He says he’s innocent, yet he continues to act guilty as f*ck.
Trump’s behavior indicated that guilt again today when he filed a lawsuit in federal court this morning against House Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings in an effort to block the subpoenas Cummings issued for Donald’s longtime accountant, Mazars USA LLP.
In the subpoenas, Cummings requested 10 years worth of Trump’s financial records from the accounting firm as part of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the president’s finances. And while Trump likes to harp about his innocence and the “bullying” that he receives from the Democratic party behind the safety of his smartphone screen, it seems that he’s a lot less confident about it in the real world.
“Democrats are using their new control of congressional committees to investigate every aspect of President Trump’s personal finances, businesses, and even his family,” Donald’s lawsuit read. “Instead of working with the President to pass bipartisan legislation that would actually benefit Americans, House Democrats are singularly obsessed with finding something they can use to damage the President politically.”

What do you know? Here he is caught with his hand in the cookie jar for the umpteenth time in his presidency and he is still attempting to blame it all on the Democrats — trying to convince the committee, what few supporters he has left, and possibly even himself that he’s not actually done anything wrong — that this is just a ploy by the left to get dirt on him with the impending election.
Not that he has ANY room to talk about that, considering we are all aware of the lengths he went to in an attempt to dig up dirt on Hilary Clinton that didn’t even exist.
Either way, Trump — it’s not a witch hunt if you’re guilty, it’s an investigation, democracy at its best.
