It’s no secret that those of us over here on the left side of the political fence have been absolutely appalled at Donald trump’s lackluster response to the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.
The man ignored the issue for as long as humanly possible, despite multiple warnings of its imminent danger, and then proceeded to do the absolute bare minimum to get by without being physically dragged out of the White House by the fake hair on his head.
Even to this day, Trump hasn’t done an ounce more than he absolutely has to and continues to defy and undermine medical professionals regarding everything from treatments to wearing a mask to a time frame on opening the country back to business as usual.
Frankly, it’s been nothing but a dumpster fire since day one, as is most of his presidency — except he’s actually costing real, human lives this time.

It’s no wonder that the Democrats are more than a little pissed at the dude now.
But as it turns out, it’s not just those of us over here on the left that have taken issue with Trump’s less-than-ideal approach to this pandemic.
According to a report from Insider, supporters from the state of Virginia, where Trump raked in a hefty win back in 2016, are starting to hop off the Trump Train after seeing his disastrous response to COVID-19.
In the state’s Northern Neck peninsula, a dozen workers in the seafood and agricultural field spoke out against the man that they once supported. Sources requested that they remain anonymous when speaking to Insider to avoid backlash and repercussions, but they were all quick to divulge how unimpressed and overwhelmingly frustrated they are with Trump’s actions in the midst of a global pandemic.
“A few weeks ago I could ignore the parts of his personality I didn’t like,” 25-year Chesapeake Bay waterman, Cliff told the publication. “That’s over. I don’t believe anything he’s saying now.”
“He’s got no idea what the hell he’s doing, and I think he’s flat-out lying to everyone about how bad it really is, and how bad it’s going to get,” an oysterman in his mid-40s that goes by the name of Matt stated.
“He thinks we’re all stupid and will show up for him no matter what,” he added. “At this point, I can’t imagine bringing myself to do that.”
It truly does seem that this pandemic may serve as the final nail in Trump’s coffin. It’s just heartbreaking that it’s literally cost us thousands of lives to get to this point.
