Trump Supporters Are Livid After Photo Of Lebron James Shows He Turned MAGA Hat Into A Message About Breonna Taylor

Who's the snowflake?

The entire nation has been in a pretty well constant state of unrest for months now due to the blatant systemic racism and police brutality against people of color in the United States that has been allowed to run wildly unchecked, coast to coast, for as long as this country has been a country.

We’ve known it was there, we’ve tried for decades and decades to fight it. But as is with most things, there was eventually a straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back — a couple of them, actually — that threw the entirety of this country into one of the biggest, most powerful uprisings we have ever seen.

George Floyd, an unarmed black man accused of trying to use a counterfeit bill, was murdered in the streets of Minneapolis by a white police officer who kneeled on his neck for nearly 10 minutes as he begged for his life. Breonna Taylor, an innocent black woman who served as an EMT in her town of Lousiville, Ky, was the victim of a no-knock warrant that wasn’t even for her, resulting in the Louisville Police Dept. storming her home in the middle of the night and shooting her to death in her bed.

While we’ve managed to see some justice for George Floyd, as the officers who participated in his murder have now been charged and jailed, the world is still waiting to see justice for Breonna Taylor. Thus far, only one of the officers that participated in the shooting has even been removed from his position, and not a single one has been charged or jailed for murdering an innocent woman while she slept in her bed.

And America is not backing down.

In addition to the widespread protests from California to the Carolinas, many prominent figures in this country have used their platforms to protests racism and police brutality and demand the justice that Taylor deserves.

World-renowned singer Beyonce penned an open letter while Oprah Winfrey replaced herself on the cover of her magazine for the first time since its publication with a photo of Breonna.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Lakers were gearing up for their opening game against the Portland Trail Blazers, and several players, including LeBron James, showed up wearing red MAGA hats. However, there was quite a twist.

In a series of photos posted to James’ Instagram, you can see that the MAGA hats had been altered to cross out the words “Great Again” and were replaced with “Make America arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.”

Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, Jared Dudley, Quinn Cook, Rajon Rondo, Danny Green, and JR Smith also wore the altered MAGA hats.

As you can imagine, while the majority of people praised the players for their bold move, the MAGA crowd was rather incensed over the situation, writing things like:

“Stick to playing basketball!”

“Make sure they take tht ‘black Lives matter’ bs off dem courts..we do not support tht movement (sic)”

“Your (sic) a puppet for the democrats.”

Twitter saw a few angry MAGA heads over James’ altered hat as well:

Once again, I find myself confused as to how the Left has been labeled the “snowflakes” when the MAGA crowd can’t even handle a hat. But either way, these “snowflakes” aren’t backing down. We will get justice, even if it’s at the expense of their precious red hats.
