Trump Supporters Seem To Think Jennifer Lopez Was Wearing A Texas Flag During Super Bowl Half-Time Performance Instead Of The Puerto Rican Flag

Boy, they are really... Really not smart.

If you’ve ever wondered how on earth all these people are continuing to support Donald Trump in spite of all the cruel, corrupt, and downright stupid things he does and says, I’ve got an answer for you — it’s because they’re all as cruel, corrupt, and downright stupid as he is.

Last night, world-renowned singer Jennifer Lopez, whose parents are from Puerto Rico, absolutely dropped jaws during the Super Bowl halftime show when she sang the 1984 Bruce Springsteen hit, Born In The USA, with her daughter Emme, while gloriously and proudly wearing the Puerto Rican flag. Shortly after the hit song, dancers removed the flag and continued to hold it up as Lopez performed another song with Shakira.

For the most part, Lopez and Shakira both received heaps of praise from social media users before they’d even gotten the chance to wrap up their monumental performance, marking the first time in history that two Latinas headlined the Super Bowl halftime show.

As we all expected, because we now live in a world where racism is a thing to be proud of as our “president” has essentially made a game out of how many brown people he can fit in one cage, there were, unfortunately, more than a few racist ass comments to spew out of Trump supporters’ mouths over the fact that J-Lo displayed the flag of Puerto Rico during her performance rather than the American flag as many MAGAs would have preferred — nevermind the fact that Puerto Rico is literally a U.S. territory, I guess.

Frankly, that part wasn’t all that surprising. Disgusting and nausea-inducing, absolutely. But not really surprising. However, my eyeballs did do that weird crooked thing they do when something is too stupid for my brain to comprehend without doing the old AOL loading sound upon discovering that more than a few of Trump’s loyal supporters didn’t seem to understand that it was the Puerto Rican flag at all — the dimwits thought it belonged to Texas.

No. I’m not kidding. This was literally a thing. See for yourself:

To say the very least, that got schooled. Quickly.

I really have to wonder if it hurts to be this stupid. Is it painful?
