Donald Trump’s supporters loathe actors unless they back their president. Academy Award-winning actor Clint Eastwood backed Trump for president — until now. In 2016, Clintwood was all in for the former reality show star, saying, “He’s onto something because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells.”
And now, though he approved of “certain things” the president has done, he wishes that he would act “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names. I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level.”
“The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there,” Eastwood said.
The actor went from being against political correctness to basically saying that we need to be a bit kinder to each other. And now, the MAGA crowd is turning on him.

“The politics has gotten so ornery,” Eastwood said during the interview. We’re not sure what the actor expected after supporting someone as toxic as Donald Trump, but life is all about learning and evolving, so maybe he gets it now. We’re expecting some mean-girl tweets from Trump and Don Jr. soon. Hey, at least they still have Ted Nugent to slobber over.
