Trump Takes To Twitter, Says It’s A “Compliment” That He’s Called “Vain” And “Insensitive”

This doesn't feel like real life.

Donald Trump’s lack of sensitivity, empathy, and the fact he’s morally bankrupt are not features a president should have, especially amid a national crisis, but here we are. The ignorant, self-aggrandizing, incompetent fool of a president took to Twitter to thank Trump sycophant James Woods — a guy who used to be an actor — for calling him “vain, insensitive and raw.”

Woods, of course, drooled over the president to say that even though Trump lacks any sort of sensitivity, he “loves America more than any President in my lifetime.” I’d like to see the receipts on that claim, James, because Trump has been busy shitposting on Twitter while Americans are dying. Oh, and he’s feeling sorry for himself because he can’t play golf amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump has to be the least self-aware person on earth:

With more than thirty-six million Americans suddenly out of work, Trump is thanking a Twitter user for calling him “insensitive.” As for Trump’s idea of America, it’s becoming a wasteland while he tweets out insults at anyone who criticizes him while he feeds his massive ego with tweets such as the one the washed-up actor unleashed.

Trump is basically admitting that he’s an asshole, and that’s one thing I can agree with him about. Trump thrives on dividing this country while he feigns to be the victim. What’s really depressing is that a portion of this country is so caught up in the fog that they will vote for Trump again in November even though it’s in their worst interest. I guess sticking it to the libs is more important than staying alive to Trumpers.

Trump is devoted to his base and not the entire United States of America. Not all of us. And he would shiv his supporters in the back in a New York minute because cruelty is his raison d’etre, and loyalty is a one-way street for this president.

None of this is normal, of course. At least yesterday, we got to see a real president speak when Obama addressed our country’s graduates. And he’s back for a while — supporting Trump’s presumptive challenger.

Meanwhile, when is Trump’s home planet going to reclaim him?
