Trump Takes To Twitter To Brag About The Crowd Size Of His Upcoming Rally, Claims There Were “Almost One Million” People Who Requested Tickets

Because nothing else is going on.

Donald Trump has been anxious to restart his rallies ahead of the election in November, even though the president could put his own supporters at risk. Trump’s June 20th rally in Tulsa has been met with criticism, and the city is seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases. The U.S. is reeling over George Floyd’s murder by police officers as daily protests continue, but Donald Trump doesn’t seem to be addressing either of the national crises.

Instead, Trump took to Twitter to brag about how many people have requested tickets for the Tulsa rally. The Trump campaign has thrown out conflicting figures to the public on how many tickets have been registered for the event, with campaign manager Brad Parscale now claiming 800,000 people registered for tickets even though the venue holds only 19,000. Parscale has upped the number of people that are attending several times now.

And Trump just changed the number to nearly one million, because why not. Tulsa’s population isn’t even half of this number.

Twitter users piled in.

Trump is lying about the number of requests, and all to protect his massive but fragile ego. Trump’s top priority is himself, while the country is grieving. And we could comfortably sit back and laugh at the plague enthusiasts for attending the rally, but unfortunately, they will go out and infect others as they spread the disease.
