This is hilarious.

Former President Donald Trump’s team quietly launched a new social media platform on Thursday, according to Politico, and it’s been touted as an alternative to Big Tech site that “fights cancel culture, promoting common sense, defending free speech, challenging social media monopolies, and creating a true marketplace of ideas.” Trump’s former spokesman, Jason Miller — a deadbeat dad — is leading the platform named GETTR.

It’s unclear if the twice-impeached one-term president will open an account on the new site, but he has been deplatformed for inciting the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. Still, the outlet notes that Trump’s “proximity to Miller suggests that this may be the latest attempt to get him back in the churn of social media.”

Social media users couldn’t get past the name of the new platform.

A. J. Delgado is the mother of Miller’s child, and he hasn’t been paying child support.

I checked the site out before writing this, and it’s almost identical to Twitter.

I’m fairly certain that Trump will wait to see if the site becomes popular, and the former president will likely want a cut of the profits if he opens an account. They really couldn’t come up with a better name for the platform?
