Look, we knew the Donald Trump/Bill O’Reilly mashup tour was going to be… Well… Weird. And that’s honestly the nicest, mildest descriptor I could come up with. But this… This surprised even us. And that takes a lot.
The event between the disgraced former president and the equally disgraced for Fox personality wasn’t streamed live anywhere for our viewing “pleasure,” like most of his other MAGA rally events — mostly due to the fact that the less-than-dynamic duo was doing their damnedest to squeeze every red cent they could out of the four-stop “History Tour.”
But nevertheless, a few clips of the event made their way onto social media and, while we certainly expected things to be crazy in there, this went above and beyond what we were even prepared for.
During last night’s leg of the big Trump/O’Reilly tour, the disgraced ex-president told what can only be described as a seriously bizarre story about the time he met with one of his most favorite dictators, North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un, and proceeded to play Jong-Un a recording of Elton John’s hit, “Rocket Man.”
Trump kicked the story off with a handful of rather distasteful jokes about the dictator and his reign of terror over the people of North Korea before telling the crowd that he questioned the dictator as to whether he’d ever heard of the popular artist or his hit song.

According to Trump, Kim answered no, and the man who was the literal President of the United States at the time proceeded to pull out a cassette and recorder and played the North Korean dictator Elton John’s “Rocket Man.”
Trump told a bizarre story last night, where he claimed that he was in a meeting with Kim Jong-Un when he pulled out a cassette tape and recorder and played Elton John’s ‘Rocket Man’ to Kim in front of 40 people. This is insane. pic.twitter.com/GAWok0ZAWg

I very much wish this were a joke, people.
But whether or not the “Rocket Man” incident actually happened, or Trump’s just telling a fib to ignite some laughter from his audience, the fact that he told the story at all is a bit chilling — and serves as a stark reminder that this man’s mental health is far from top-notch.
Frankly, normal people don’t tell stories like that with the same demeanor and tone you’d tell a story about your grandkids with.
And I am far from the only one who was left questioning the state of Trump’s mind after watching that clip:
Trump, a decades-long, severe drug addict, and former President of the U.S. — is joking about nuclear weapons. This is Psychopathy-Sociopathy (APD), Narcissism, Machiavellianism, Paranoia, Sadism, and Drug Addiction. This is Fascism. #StandAgainstFascism

He’s lost his grasp on reality and has no idea what has and hasn’t happened.

I stole this but I’m sure that the original poster will forgive me for using it on such an appropriate occasion. pic.twitter.com/RsbSQVTHKn

Our last Thanksgiving together as a family featured my late, lovely but demented dad talking about when he used to fight the dinosaurs. My sister and I stayed in the kitchen and left it the rest of the family to carry on the conversation. Fortunately, he died during Obama term 2.

The scariest part of that clip is the fact that he gets excited by saying his ppl are afraid of him. Donald wants ppl to fear him. He likes the way that feels.

After watching that clip, there should be no shadow of a doubt in your mind — that man is not okay.
