This morning, on Fox News, Donald Trump was interviewed by none other than Judge Jeanine Pirro impersonator Maria Bartiromo and as we are accustomed to, it was unhinged. This interview, though, was a bit different. It was as if he was trying to distill each of his normal points into a sort of verbal cocaine for everyone unfortunate enough to be listening to consume.
One of the most egregious things he stated throughout an interview of very egregious things, though, was his claim that he has killed terrorists that are “bigger than Osama bin Laden.”
This isn’t the first time he has played “compare the terrorist” with former President Barack Obama, it almost seems he feels inadequate to him somehow. He starts the question off blustering about how he is going to have the troops home by Christmas and saying that they are acting as policemen overseas. Considering how the police tend to act here that assessment probably isn’t too far off base. He goes on to boast:
“I wiped out one hundred percent of the ISIS caliphate, I killed Soleimani, I killed al-Baghdadi, names that everybody, bigger names than Osama bin Laden. al-Baghdadi founded ISIS, Soleimani was the first terrorist in 50 years. I killed both of them, nobody could find them until I came along.”

The idea that one terrorist defeat is greater than another is in itself childish and grotesque. It is also hard to argue that those names, as terrible as they were, lived up to the zeitgeist America faced around Osama bin-Laden.
The interview continued to derail until it completely left the tracks with this:
“He was raising his very thin hand, and he was fracking” — what the hell is Trump talking about? pic.twitter.com/cGguiXi7Ne

At that point, his projecting verbal cocaine transformed into complete verbal mush.
