Trump Told A Fox Anchor About His Trip To China, Said He Told President Xi On A Tour That “It Would Be A Terrible Thing If These Beautiful Places Were Ever Blown Up”

What a mental case.

We haven’t seen too much of former President Donald Trump recently until now. Of course, he issues his seemingly daily crazy-time statements through his spokeswoman Liz Harrington to circumvent his ban on Twitter after the twice-impeached one-term president incited the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. Trump was interviewed by Fox New’s Sean Hannity, and it was, of course, weird, to say the least. Then, the next day, the former president wrongly told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that the coronavirus was “virtually gone” when he left office.

Trump is on a quest to prove that he was a better president than Joe Biden, and there’s never been a time when an ex-president has blasted his successor before. Trump truly wants President Joe Biden to fail after sustaining a massive narcissistic injury last November when he was defeated in both the electoral and popular vote. It’s never been America First with Trump. To the former president, it’s Trump first. Trump’s insane interviews only prove why he was the least popular president in the history of polling.

Case in point: Trump told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that while he was on his trip to China, he told President Xi, “It would be a terrible thing if these beautiful places were ever blown up.”

Watch:

Now, whether the former president actually said that to Xi or not is anyone’s guess, but Trump only emphasized how badly he needed to be defeated last November. Trump’s alleged outburst at President Xi reminds me of his nuclear threat to North Korea.

“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen,” Trump said at the time, according to The Intercept. The following month,  Trump made a similar threat at the United Nations, saying that “the United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission.”

Trump likes to play the strongman, but he’s the weakest president this country has ever had. Threatening to blow up the world doesn’t mean you’re a good president, and I can’t believe I even felt the need to type that out.
